Expert Hearing & Audiology has offices in Eden Prairie and Mendota Heights, MN, and is a family-owned, local audiology practice. Giselle Matsui received her Master's degree in Audiology from Northern Illinois University, and began her career in audiology in 1985 in private practice in Chicago, IL. Her desire to impact the design and functionality of hearing instruments led her to work for GN ReSound, one of the largest hearing instrument manufacturers in the world. As their Product Director, she helped design and bring to market state-of-the-art hearing instruments that have helped improve the lifestyle of millions of hearing impaired patients world-wide. Dr. Lou Valentine earned his Bachelor of Science degree Communication Sciences and Disorders from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, and his Doctorate of Audiology from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. He holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. His experience includes a strong background working with all major brands of digital hearing instruments in both ENT and private-practice settings, ABR (Auditory Brainstem Response), OAE (Oto Acoustic Emissions) and ENG/VNG (inner ear) testing, Real Ear/Speech Mapping verification, tinnitus therapy and aural rehabilitation. Dr. Michelle Foss is a licensed audiologist in Minnesota and Wisconsin. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech & Hearing Sciences from the University of Minnesota, and her Master of Science and Teaching degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Wisconsin. She obtained her clinical Doctorate degree in Audiology from Central Michigan University. Dr. Foss is certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association, is a member of the Minnesota Academy of Audioloyg, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Her extensive background includes 20 years at the Duluth Clinic in Duluth, MN, where she managed the Audiology Department and Balance Center. Her clinical experience includes ABR (Auditory Brainstem Response), OAE (Oto Acoustic Emissions), ENG/VNG (inner ear) testing, Real Ear/Speech Mapping verification, tinnitus therapy, aural rehabilitation, and a strong background working with all major brands of hearing instrument technologies. Joe Togstad is the office manager at our Eden Prairie location. Joe brings over 20 years of hearing industry experience to our business.
